The most common and simple form of an acrostic poem is where the first letters of each line spell out the word or phrase.

Failures

First time I tried, I didn't succeed,
And so, I tried once more.
I gave my all--ahead full speed!
Lost out, just like before.
Unwilling to admit defeat,
Redoubling my effort I came to the fore.
Enabled by determination, my goal I did complete,
Showing failure is often success's front door.

Anger

All I see is red
Nothing gets past the scarlet haze
Gnashed teeth cause aching jaws
Every muscle rigid and taut
Responding to the latest news

Kindness

Kindling
Inspiration--
Nurturing
Desire--
Neverending
Encouragement--
Soul
Satisfaction
